Terms of Service

By accessing or using Surface 2 (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Surface 2 is a research platform that orchestrates third-party protein structure prediction APIs. It does not host, train, or redistribute AI model weights.

Users retain full ownership of uploaded sequences and generated projects. Sequences submitted for prediction are transmitted to third-party providers under their respective terms. Surface 2 does not store sequences beyond the active session.

All structural predictions are AI-generated computational hypotheses. Surface 2 makes no warranty of accuracy. Predictions must not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment without experimental validation.

Surface 2 connects to AlphaFold (EMBL-EBI, CC BY 4.0), ESMFold (Meta AI, MIT), and RCSB PDB (CC0). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

Surface 2 platform code and UI are proprietary. Model outputs belong to the user. Attribution to underlying model providers is required for publications.

Surface 2 is not liable for research decisions made based on AI predictions. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
